ABOUT

Hi!  My name is Natalie Deo (she/her/hers), and I'm a student engineer living in sunny SoCal, which is where I've lived my whole life.  Right now, I'm working toward my Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC) in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.  I'm working on pursuing a love and passion I have for both space and engineering, and I'm approaching it from an Electrical Engineering perspective, which is what my undergraduate degree was in.  I like to put it as me sending my thoughts to the stars.

Though I'm very capable of remaining professional when necessary, I thrive much more when it comes to being able to socialize and connect with those around me.  My goal is to inspire others to aim high and treat people with kindness.  I am a huge advocate for Type 1 Diabetes (since my diagnosis in 2010), mental health, social justice, and so much more.  Though I have big plans for the future, I'm taking some things day-by-day and trying to fall in love with the little things that make life pretty special.
